The printed versions of the Mountain Directory books have almost 240 pages of text and color relief maps. All 240 pages are in the downloadable versions of the Mountain Directory ebooks. Nothing is missing. In the printed versions, mountain pass locations are marked with a yellow triangle on the color relief maps. DELIVERY, SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, AND RESTRICTIONS: The Mountain Directory ebooks are DRMZ files contained within a ZIP file that is delivered via direct download. They are recommended for both Windows and Mac desktop and laptop computers. (For iOS and Android mobile device users, we strongly recommend the Mountain Directory iOS ebooks and Android ebooks.) After purchasing the ebook, you will immediately receive an email containing your authorization code. You may use your code to install the ebook on a total of two (2) computers. Text can be printed from the ebooks on a limited basis, but if you would like to have printed pages while on the road, perhaps the printed versions of the book would be a better choice for you.

NOTE: In 2017 we reformatted the Mountain Directory e-books to better meet the needs of our customers and to target a broader range of operating systems. All of the new ebooks are now available for purchase. In the meantime we have retired the Windows-only version of the e-books. We will no longer be offering the Windows-only e-books for sale but we will continue to provide support for customers who have already purchased those versions.
